Q. What are Caroma Invisi and Fowler Icon? - Caroma Industries (N.Z) Limited
A. Caroma Invisi and Fowler Icon are a unique collection of ultra contemporary, minimalist toilet suites that save space in your bathroom, while the plumbing and cistern are cleverly concealed behind the wall. Invisi and Icon toilet suites operate exactly the same way as a regular toilet suite, but with the cistern behind the wall, it's a dramatic new way to view your bathroom.
Q. What is Smartflush? - Caroma Industries (N.Z) Limited
A. Smartflush is the leading-edge technology, developed over a decade, which reduces the amount water your toilet uses. Smartflush sets the benchmark for innovative toilet suite design and water conservation by using only 4.5 litres for a full flush. This will save the average Kiwi home up to 35,000 litres of water a year (compared to an 11 litre single flush toilet suite).
Q. What is the difference between a wall faced toilet suite, a close-coupled toilet suite and a connector toilet suite? - Caroma Industries (N.Z) Limited
A. Wall Faced Toilet Suite - A wall faced style is one where the back of the pan sits flush with the wall, completely concealing all pipework. This gives a clean, modern look.
Close-Coupled Toilet Suite - A close-coupled style is one where the cistern is fixed at a low level directly to the toilet pan.
Connector Toilet Suite - A connector or link style toilet allows for the cistern to be mounted to the wall, with a flush pipe connectoing the cistern to the pan. The pan can then achieve a larger set out measurement (distance from the floor or wall where the outlet goes through tot he centre of the outlet of your toilet), with a connection plate concealing the flush pipe.

Q. What is WELS? - Caroma Industries (N.Z) Limited
A. WELS is the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Scheme, which is a government initiative ensuring mandatory labelling and water performance standards on a range of household water-using products.
WELS is all about reducing water consumption and saving precious water resources. The Scheme is designed to help your customers make informed choices about the water-using products they select for their homes by establishing a consistent benchmark from which to compare products. It also encourages manufacturers to design more water efficient products.
WELS uses a 6-star rating scale, along with a water consumption figure, to identify a product's water efficiency. The more stars mean the product is more water efficient.
